..and here I was hoping we could take these rules and start applying them to the various streaming platforms like Disney+, CBS All Access, etc where the content is 100% vertically integrated and if you want access to it you MUST buy it from the company that made it.
You can record everything except XAVC S-I 120p on regular UHS-II SD cards. You only need the CF Express A's for the massive 600 Mb/s of that codec in 4k 120.
Eddie Murphy hasn't been funny in decades...
All I hear is "I'm old, and I want to go back to a simpler time when we didn't have to think about the morality of rape jokes/culture". Seriously, the way Bill Murray treats Sigourney Weaver is appalling in the original film.
You... you do realize that both Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray WERE SNL cast members....
Let the rain of complaints about the 2016 film commence. Personally I enjoyed the 2016 film. It was funny. I don't think there was any sort of "feminist agenda" on display in the actual film, in the choice to have all of the leads be women, maybe, but no one would have even blinked had it been 4 dudes so...
In any case, I couldn't give a flying ____ about a sequel to the originals. I say this about EVERY sequel, reboot, whatever of nostalgia IP's. I'll watch them, if they are good I'll enjoy them. But I just can't get invested in all of the "oh my god I hope they don't mess it up" drama.
Would I pay $7,000 to help a company R&D their product? How many ways can I find to say NO? Particularly since this camera was originally supposed to release around NAB. The fact that we are sitting here 4 months later and RED is here begging its sycophant fan boys to not only help them beta test, but demanding they pony up $7k to do it, with no guarantee that there will ever be a full release, or that their beta testing model will be capable of the full release firmware if it ever does come. If there were some sort of discount, or the ability to trade in one of these beta models for a full release when the time came, then maybe. This is just RED outsourcing their R&D and getting their testers to pay for it.
