It's funny how people always recommend the GH4. But as I look for short films on YouTube and Vimeo shot with a GH4, all I ever find is "sample video/video test" with shots of grass, flowers and trees; or examples of 96fps used in slo-mo. When I look for pictures taken with the GH4 on 500px, it don't seem like photographers are using this camera, either. On the other hand, when I look for short films shot with the BMPCC, there's video, after video, after video. What am I missing? Why the GH4 hype?
I step out of my comfort zone and read books I wouldn't normally read, and watch music videos and movies that I wouldn't normally watch. On another note, John Carpenter turned to a 6 pack of beer when he got writers block when writing Halloween II.
There's a plugin you can use in after effects called Twitch. Maybe mask the subject out and apply Twitch to make the background, "twitch".
A down vote should require a reason why the down voter disagree with the comment they're down voting.
I saw David Fincher shooting Gone Girl, and there was always a crowd around watching. But he was so focused on the task at hand I don't think he saw anyone (or anything) except for his vision for that particular scene.
Most of the time ppl aren't thinking negative about you, their more curious about what your doing and trying to gather their thoughts on how to approach you to become part of it!
