So, lets shoot some beautiful footage with a F5, F55, Amira, Alexa, F65, Ursa etc etc. Bang it all together in a nice impressive video then go out and say there's this beautiful new camera out, make up some name for it and release it on Vimeo. Guaranteed people will praise it to the heavens, others will say how consistent the colours are, others will say the footage isn't that great.

In fact you could take this video and say it was shot on a number of cameras and nobody could tell the difference. But that's only if it's shot well, colour graded nicely by someone who knows what they're doing.

Testing what a lens is really about requires much more than a well made film like the one above. I don't doubt how good this lens is but assessing it from a vimeo or youtube film is a bit pointless.

This is only feedback (wrong thread?) but a darker colour background would make reading here so much nicer. Reading black text on a light background on laptop or computer screen is tiring. Why don't you follow the example set by many editing and colour grading programs and have a darkish background. Be especially nice for the longer articles and lots of replies and answers etc.
