Article Comment – Why Are People So Furious with Baby Yoda for Eating Some Eggs?

People should pay more attention to dialogue before they start their cancel mobs. Absolutely NOWHERE is it stated she is the last of her species. (If she was they’d be doomed already unless inbreeding doesn’t apply to Frogs).

What she did say is that they are the last eggs SHE will ever lay. She’s basically going into menopause. That’s it. No mass extinction. Baby Yoda, while being a little jerk, is not committing “genocide” like some of the overly-distraught cancelers on twitter were yammering about.

Was he being bad? Yes. Is it the end of the fake species on the fake planet in the fake universe? NO.

Los Angeles. For my wife and me to see Dunkirk in IMAX cost nearly $60.

Article Comment – Watch: These Are 34 of the Most Creative Cuts in 'Stranger Things'

What a lousy video. I couldn't tell the edits apart. They were so quick, and I couldn't tell half the time if the graphic was on the cut or telling me that the next cut was the one I was looking for. Some transitions are obvious (camera going into vent, coming out somewhere else) but for hard cuts between locations it was hard to tell if I was watching a jump within the show or just a jump to the next part of the montage.

For being a video about great edits, the editing was awful and counterproductive.

Article Comment – DJI Announces the World's First Micro 4/3 Aerial Cameras; Shoots 4K RAW

I assume that this will only be fully useful with m4/3 lenses with built in electronics. There's no way the Veydras would work unless you set your focus and f stop on the ground before lift off. But without the ability to pull focus you are pretty limited in the kinds of shots you can do with those lenses.

Article Comment – SmallHD's New 702 Bright is a 7" 1080p Monitor That's Easily Viewable in Daylight

Well there is the actual functionality to consider. If I'm putting this on an FS7 that can already record 10 bit 4k internally, what do I need the Atomos for? The use of pages and tools on this new generation of SmallHD monitors is a major leap forward in terms of user interface, in my opinion. I always found the interface for all previous SmallHD products to be terrible. I've also used TV Logic. Nothing I have seen is as easy to use in the field as the 502, so I am one of those people looking forward to this. And the price is shockingly lower than I would expect considering the prices for the DP7s.

Article Comment – New Sony 8K CineAlta Camera Coming in 2016 to Replace the F65?

I look at that list and still see "not too much else." Ex-Machina? Sure. After Earth or White House Down? Meh.......

The author's point still stands that use of Alexa and Red blow away the number of projects shot on F65.
