Pre-orders aren't always full price. I doubt they had $34M cash at hand. And like the post said, they're working to give the pre-order sales back, which means they probably had certain funds locked away in case things go south. So the actual R&D cash they had was much smaller then what the public eye thinks.
1. "I'm not that creative."
2. Getting my colour grade and exposure right. Especially when working with Log or Cinestyle.
3. I still have a DIY'd camera rig. Sometimes the reliability sucks.
4. Different approaches to capturing scenes, and lighting situations and HOW that affects your decisions in post. I want to see a better merging of the two, rather then each one on their own.
