ANything can be cut with anything. Please, read what I said, listen to what someone more experienced than you has said:

Matching flawlessly isn't the same as "a GH2 can cut with Alexa".

GoPros cut with Alexa all the time, there has never been a single voice that bellowed "this matches flawlessly with Alexa."

The point is pretty clear, no matter how you'd like to take it: ask any colorist that's dealt with both and the reaction is always the same, BMD cameras don't just "cut" with Alexa, they're downright similar in color.

By extension, and I feel this is just obvious... if BMD is a dead ringer for Alexa, how on earth can it not match RED, which is behind Alexa in color?

It doesn't matter what you would want to do, your statement was presented as fact: No BMD Sensor can match the color of RED sensors.

The reality is that you're deluded if you think that's true, and any colorist that's dealt with BMD footage and Alexa footage will outright tell you that they match dead on save for resolution or moire.

You can easily extrapolate from that. ARRI color > RED Color... by default, your statement is false.

You think petapixel and DXOmark is a valid argument against Rodney Charters, ASC CSC's working knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with the actual tools?

You'd be willing to actually enter a conversation with Sir Charters with this as your argument? What about John Seale?
