Great article! I think Disney is starting to approach antitrust territory, similarly to when studios also owned the movie theaters that showed their movies.
The title of this clickbait article should be, “How Two Filmmakers Made a Movie Using a MiniDV Camera in 2019.”
V. Stiviano, you missed one of the biggest selling points of this drone: the weight. It’s under .55 pounds so in the US, you’re not legally required to register your drone with the FAA!
They are garbage for putting themselves in front of a beloved show. Their arrogant decision cost them their legacy of having one of the greatest shows of all time. They should’ve past the show on to other competent show runners.
HBO essentially gave them a blank check and they turned it down. I won’t support any future projects with either of their names on it.
Seriously! The last time a charismatic CEO stepped own, it was Steve Jobs... and he didn’t live long after hat. I hope Jim is ok and lives a quality life in retirement. What a crazy career to go from creating Oakley’s to creating the Red cameras.
If you thought “Joker” was good then you’ll love “Angel has Fallen.” Here’s why:
AHF has a narrative drive.
The protagonist in AHF is smart.
AHF has an antagonist.
AHF character arc is consistent and makes sense.
When you watch AHF, you don’t walk out of the theater wishing it was directed by Christopher Nolan.
When you watch AHF, you don’t keep asking yourself, how much longer is this movie.
The protagonist in AHF doesn’t have a super annoying laugh.
