Epic, thank you so much.
When you've recovered I'd really appreciate your impressions on the R5 4k HQ vs the A7sIII's 4k? (Big pixels vs R+G+B info per pixel.)
Oh and is the 1 hr cool-off period for when an A7sIII overheats (as you previously said Sony told you) realistic?
Definitely the pre-amps...
Also IBIS with EF lenses.
There really aren't, as the Canon will do 4k/30 indefinitely so you can only consider cameras that perform above that. So no Sonys (well, for a week-or-two), some Panasonics, and maybe you're done... Good luck with the Panasonic AF. (I use a GH5, BTW...)
I'm thinking they need to discontinue their designers' access to Netflix's Sci-Fi content... and maybe add some user-interface expert's streams...
The 4k mode where it samples the sensor at 8k, so has R+G+B data for every pixel, really has my name on it...
Would have been even more interesting if they had built-in a removable ND... this doesn't scream serious video production work in a cage.
(I think Canon R5 video shooters may well prefer EF lenses with the adaptor containing an ND over R lenses, BTW.)
I think 20mm is okay as the wide end of a "standard" lens for full-width FF sensor shooting.
Is it parfocal, or can it be electronically (where the optics aren't but the camera sorts it out for you)?
Also f/2.8-4 would have been nicer. Or will there be a similar Leica lens at some point (like the two 12-60s for m43)?
