I'm finishing my last film... Sorry "movie". I shot it in digital and Film, both, because the story need it. We are mastering and mixing right now... Shooting on film is great and digital is so flexible that... Uhggg...
My point is, 99% of the people who's gonna watch your film don't give a F"!# how it was shot... they just see the movie, the story, that's it!!!
Use the medium that fits better to you and stop this stupid fighting debate.
PD: Bellamy just want money...
And why not?
I will like to add that when you divide your script in 8th's is very useful to know that one 8th of a page takes around 20 minutes to shot, so in this way you can calculate how much shooting time can a scene take, obviously not counting the setup time.
Amazing film, love it!
I'm agree with that. For a 17 year old, is a nice short. It's just the hole marketing of "One of the Best Short Films That You Will See This Year" was a little too much. I knew a lot of more talented kids and they didn't have such support. Its not a rant, its fact.
You are right, this film was bad, very bad. But since they sell it like "something different" or "new" there is a lot of hype with it. A lot of scenes where stupid and they put stuff to make it "artistically weird" in a very forced way.
