So it’s not too surprising that the company is officially going to go public, with the hopes of raising $100 million dollars in their IPO. While there is plenty of amazing POV footage out there, this new footage released by GoPro taken from the HERO2s attached to his body is as thrilling as any Hollywood action movie. GoProAt the time of the announcement of Letus’ 1.33X Anamorphic Adapter for the GoPro, the AnamorphX-GP, there wasn’t any footage to share in order to show you what you can expect, nor was there a release date. Novo_02Though tiny action cameras, like the GoPro, can take filmmaking and cinematography to new and exciting places (literally,) their limitations can be a bit of a drag. We’ve talked about the Novo Camera mod, a customized Hero3 with a wide range of features that have opened up doors for filmmakers to control the capture of their image. Michael Booth of Radiant Images shared a reel that was presented to the Director’s Guild of America, containing footage taken from the sky, a moving car, a kickflipping skateboard, a motorcycle, and even underneath a turtle.
