With video and audio files increasing in size, finding a fast, dependable way to store them has increased in demand. Sony has entered the pro SSD arena with its new 980GB and previously announced 480GB SSDs.

The SLW-M series are 2.5-inch drives supporting SATA 3.0 capable of write/read speeds up to 560/530 MB/s. The drives are compatible with Atomos, Blackmagic Design, and other drive slots. A unique feature Sony is touting is their 10-year lifespan.

Also featured are Sony's portable HDD shuttle drives, available as an external drive or SSD in 500GB, 1TB, or 2TB flavors. Their ruggedized RAID drives are perfect for those in need of ultra-fast data transfer.
