Canon 6D audio solutions: looking for ideas

Hi everyone,
I'm new to DSLR cinematography.
I'm thinking of buying a Canon 6D and I was trying to figure out the best audio solutions (without spending too much).

I was thinking of a Beachtek DXA-SLR -suggested by a friend- with two mics attached to it: one for the interviews and another one to capture environmental sound.
Here come the questions:
1)Is there anything less expensive than the Beachtek DXA-SLR which allows me to do more or less the same?

2) With this kit would I be able to use my camera to record the audio without recording video?
I.e.: when I shot long interviews I need several different framings, thus I need to move around the characters but in the meanwhile keep recording the sound.
3) What are the two type of mics you suggest buying?

Thanks in advance!
