Film Schools in Europe... Recommendations?

Hello everyone,

I’m an American who’s currently teaching English and English Media Literacy at a Japanese university. I have about two more years on my current contract, and after I finish here I want to study film production in Europe.

I’m hoping you might have some leads on good programs.

I’m particularly interested in programs in Germany, but would also consider programs elsewhere depending.

I would prefer a masters program.

I speak no other European language than English, and so I’d need the program to be in English as well.

I know there can be a big difference in fees and tuition depending on the country as well as if the school is a public or private university or a private art institute. Any details about this as it relates to a particular program would be great.

At the moment, I have the most confidence behind the camera, but would welcome any ideas about program focus (directing, post production, etc.) in what might be most useful in getting me furthest along, the broadest range of work, and the most work.

Not sure if I’m missing anything, so any other ideas are of course welcome as well.

Hi. I'm from Spain. Do you consider a Erasmus program? may be you can do something with this.

No, I'm not familiar with an Erasmus program, but I'll Google it now, thanks!
