How to reach out to commercial production companies for representation

Hi guys,

I've been making films through crowdsourced video websites for a while now and am wondering if anyone knows the best way of approaching exec producers at commercial production companies. Obviously the ideal scenario is for them to see your work and try and get in contact with you but that hasn't happened for me (yet.)

Also, if anyone in the commercial production world has any feedback on my reel I would love to hear from you.

Check it out at http://www.iambennettjohnson.com/films/

Cheers.

Networking could be a way to get in touch if you know where they go to network.
Sending a DVD might be a little bit old school, but with a nice packaging it could make you stand out from the other portfolios they probably get.

I can tell you this: if you just wait for them to call you, the odds are against you.

Good luck!
