In need of a storyboard artist

Hi

I am developing a film project. As part of my funding applications I am looking to include some storyboarded sequences. As we have little to no budget at this point can anyone recommend a good storyboard artist who might be willing to work for a lower than normal rate?

Martin, how did your search work out?

I've never used a storyboard artist -- never had a budget. So I learned to storyboard using a graphics editor and a video editor.

I just uploaded a short example of my current project:

This technique lends itself very well to a "conveyor" approach. One person assembles images for the actors, another one assembles the images for the locations. Yet another person converts those images into "takes" that combine actors in the locations, and finally, an editor cuts those takes.

May be this could be a solution to your needs?

Good luck!

In the words David Cronenberg "Storyboarding is Hitchcock's Mythology". Storyboarding a film is an archaic tool. Plan your shots around your actors and visualize it on set like Chris Nolan does.
