New Sony A7R II Can Overheat When Shooting Internal 4K

A few websites are reporting that the new Sony A7R II full-frame camera overheats when shooting internal 4K video for longer than 20 minutes.

( heat issue mentioned about half way down the page )

The fix for the overheating issue appears to be an external 4K video recorder, which is not a bad solution at all because you get higher data rates and 4:2:2 color. ( and a nice large monitor display to compose your shots )

The A7R II was looking like the ultimate mirrorless camera, but I guess you can't have everything.
