Advice regarding buying a used Canon C300

I recently bought a used Canon C300 from a reputable online retailer. It was £3600 inc VAT, and has 1350 hours usage. I used it for a shoot on Saturday and the button to open the CF A card slot kept coming off and also the genlock/time code cover is missing.

Would this camera be better off returned or getting fixed? It has a 3 month warranty with the retailer.

If you've got a warranty I would return it to be fixed right away. Because there are few moving parts with today's digital cameras, they are designed to last a very long time. ( last year I saw a Panasonic HMC-150 camera selling used with 15,000 hours on it, but it was in perfect physical shape )
