If you care only about video, then read this: http://nofilmschool.com/boards/questions/a7sii-overheating-woes

The expert opinion (and the hard-won experience of users who ignore it) is: if you really care about video, not merely specs and shooting short tests that you can post on YouTube, look at buying a camera that was designed to be a video camera (or digital cinema camera) first and foremost.

I have a GH4, which is not a video camera first and foremost, but to make it a useful video camera, I've augmented it with an Atomos Shogun, virtually doubling its price and making a mess of its lovely ergonomics. But it will shoot video with acceptable quality over a long period of time without going into a meltdown. And it's cheap (compared with the true digital cinema cameras I own).

Seems you're telling him to buy a blackmagic cam, since those are the only affordable true cinema cams I know, anything else being over 10 Grand?

I'm not making a specific recommendation...I'm just saying that the OP should consider very seriously whether he can live with the quite serious limitations of at least one of the cameras he is considering.
