Choppy pan sony a7r ii

I have a very choppy pan with a7r ii. I dont know if it's normal, or thats me doing something wrong...
here's the link for short demonstration:
https://youtu.be/Z-_nTHDcH9s
My settings:
File format: XAVC S HD
Record settings: 24p 50mb
shutter: 1/50
If this is normal, does anyone know how to fix it in post-production?

You are panning way too fast. The rule-of-thumb for smooth 24p panning is that every object should take at least 7 seconds to move from one side of your horizontal image frame to the other.

There is actually a mathematical formula for panning that factors in your shooting frame rate, but I can't find it at this moment.

I too am curious about this phenomenon, which I have experienced with other cameras. Why is the pan not consistently choppy, rather than mixing segments of smoothness with big jumps?
