field monitors

Hi guys I'm a dslr shooter and I'm about to invest in a hd field monitor. I currently shoot on a Canon 550d and would welcome suggestions as to a decent but not too expensive option. I have done some research and have looked at the Chinese options and was close to buying one but I am reluctant to pull the trigger on it without proper feedback from people that may have purchased one. I would really appreciate your input and advice, thanks in advance, Phil.
