Inspire 1 Grain and Moiré
Has anyone figured out a workflow for dealing with inspire footage in post? As soon as I start to color correct the footage literally falls apart. The grain and moire is unbearable.

Grain can be "cured" with noise-reduction software, but moire is something you are stuck with. I have seen some great looking work made with the Inspire 1, so it's possible to work around the limitations.
Is there any place I could download some Inspire 1 camera footage to play with ?
( I'm curious to see what sort of problems the actual camera footage has )

What is your camera picture profile setting? The Phantom/Inspire camera oversharpens like crazy, so it's very important to turn down the sharpening. When shooting buildings or anything with harsh lines, turn sharpness down to at least -2. I usually leave mine at -1 but I find when shooting architecture even that is too sharp. You'll find much less grain and moire with the sharpness down, but it's also not much of a low light camera. I haven't used it above 200 ISO yet.
