In need of some guidance and criticism about my work

Hi guys. I'm a spanish filmmaker based in Seoul currently, and this is my request to the NFS Community.

I'm not sure this is the right place to post this but I would love to show you all my work, including my last short film (which has to remain in a private link on youtube for festivals policies).
To tell the truth, everything I show in my website is done by myself. I always write, produce, direct and edit the whole thing basically and I feel stuck. I want to start doing things more serious but I would love to hear first the voice of the community. I think I might need some criticism or advice :)

Here is my website where you can see my first works: www.homelandfilms.com

And here you can see my last short film https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jWrlyRdO-DA
Remember, it must remain private!

Thank you for your time and for doing this. What an amazing place to share!!! :)

Cinematography is good in your show reel (homeland) but i would the say there are too many white walls which makes it look kind of boring. Add color if possible! Other than that very good.

Hello James! Thank you for your reply!
Actually is not my show reel the video that you saw on the main page of homelandfilms, is just the last video I edit for a project for an architect.

Still, I appreciate your honesty! I hope you watched my films as well. I think that speaks better about my work :)

Really liked the short. Thought some of the cuts didn't work and the whole thing was very flat and not graded. I thought it was very interesting in terms of story and cinematography was good. My only advice are some of the cuts and the grade.
