System requirements for smooth flow of working on After effects and Maya or other 3D modelling software in Budget ?

Currently I've
Core i3 - 3.50Ghz, Nvidia GT 610 2Gb Graphic card and 4Gb Ram,
But the rendering is still slow and takes a lot of time, and I want to upgrade the system. please suggest me which config will be best for graphic work ?

Can I ask what kind of budget you are working on? Your current set up is not going to offer much in rendering power for the current generations of the software you mentioned.

That doesn't sound like any machine I'd want to render anything on tbh.

You should get an i7 system so you can hyperthread.
I think Mayas Mental ray can cuda render, and the latest Vray can. So a decent card like GTX 1080 would be a nice budget choice. Otherwise the graphics card is also what will make your live viewport run smooth without stuttering.

As for ram... 32gb might do the trick. It does for me on my custom pc.

Having said this.... depending on the complexity of your project, you should expect a fairly long render time in fx. Maya. Every light you add will add to the calculations.
But one thing is modelling and shading, rendering is a seperate subject... ofcourse the best settings will take the longest.
A simple sphere with fur on it jumping over the course of 1 second might take anywhere between 2-4 minutes a frame to get a semi-decent result.... now multiply that with 25 frames.

Theres a reason the big guys use dedicated render machines or render farms :)
