Recommendation on either 24 fps or 60 fps on a 4k panisonic camera? This will be filmed on a stage to discuss a topic. Please give opions of best way to go on media and why.
Well if you want the best quality you should record in UHD and that pretty much rules out 60fps.

You don't say which Panasonic camera you are talking about (therefore impossible to know whether UHD truly is ruled out or not). That said, and assuming you really do have a UHD camera that can shoot 60fps at UHD resolution, then...
If the panelists are discussing why 60fps is so great and 24fps is terrible, especially concerning the Panasonic camera in question, then you should shoot at 60fps. Otherwise, 24fps should do a better job in every way for that scenario.

You are right, he could be talking about the HC-X1000.
At any rate I think 60p for interviews is total overkill.
