Which camera should I pick?

I'm currently struggling on deciding which camera to buy. I'm very new to filmmaking and I haven't owned a DSLR before. My budget, as I'm a beginner is ultra low; £350/$500.

Should I get either the t3i or the GH2? I'll mainly be shooting video; making some shorts and shooting landscapes.

Depending on which camera I buy, which lens should I get? I want a cheap lens that I'll be able to use in the future, when I eventually upgrade my camera. If I get the GH2, it won't come with a lens (all the ones I'm watching on ebay don't come with a lens) which would be a good starter lens for the GH2? If I pick the t3i, I'll buy the nifty fifty.
I appreciate anyone that can help me decide my purchase, cheers!

I would buy the GH2 camera and a Panasonic 14-45mm kit lens. You should be able to find both for $500 or less. This is a sharp lens and it is optically stabilized so you can get smooth hand-held shots with it.
