Allan Ungar
Allan grew up in Toronto, Canada before attending the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. After graduating, he wrote and directed the action-drama TAPPED OUT, starring veteran actor Michael Biehn and UFC superstar Anderson Silva. It was released by Lionsgate in 2014. His sophomore feature, GRIDLOCKED, had its world premiere at Austin Fantastic Fest where it sold to Netflix and Magnolia. Starring Dominic Purcell, Stephen Lang, and Danny Glover, it went on to win best action film at Toronto After Dark as well as earn nominations at the Shanghai International Film Festival as part of Jackie Chan's movie week. He recently wrote the film JOHNNY TWO GUNS for director Dominic Sena, and is a producer on the upcoming psychological thriller LOWER BAY, starring Rose Mcgowan and Christopher Lloyd.
