I'll point you to the opening paragraph: "This post is an update from the original, written in July 2016. Both were written in direct response to police brutality in the US against black civilians. Thus, while recognizing that racism and its effects are experienced by many groups, the article focuses on films by and about black people that deal directly with the long, entrenched, and multi-layered history of systemic racism against them and its effects until today."
