The 8-Bit Video Game Version of 'Stranger Things' is Totally Rad
Is there anything more appropriate than an 8-bit video game remake of Stranger Things?
It couldn't have happened to a better horror/sci-fi TV show set in the 80s. Stranger Things has not only become a total cultural phenomenon, but it has also made the 80s all of a sudden cool again, has become the latest project to get its own CineFix 8-bit remake. It features all of your favorite characters, from Dustin to Barb to Eleven, as well as one of the most talked about title sequences in recent memory. So, dim the track lights and sit back on your overstuffed floral twee recliner, it's time to get strange.
This has to be CineFix's most perfect, or at least appropriate, 8-bit remake. Think about it—if Stranger Things really came out during the 80s and was greeted with the same fanfare as it is today, it probably would be remade into an actual 8-bit video game, just like Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street.
CineFix does a ton of these 8-bit remakes. You can check all of them out right here.
