Ikan Show Off New PD Movie Line Remote Systems

The single and dual channel systems let you control your camera through any iOs device.

Ikan was on hand at NAB today to demonstrate its new wireless follow-through systems, including the PD Movie Line.

The Remote Air Pro can be used with any iOS device and turns your screen into a simple control hub for shifting focus, iris, and zoom on your camera. The three-channel system allows you to take control of multiple cameras. It will be released later this week at a price of $2,799.

In addition, Ikan showed us the Remote Live 2, which also comes in single-channel and dual-channel models, available at $949 and $1,699, respectively.

Does anybody have any experience with this line of wireless follow focus units? I'm thinking the the single channel non-IOS (simple version) could serve as a fast/simple B-Unit solution. Not sure about speed, accuracy, latency, reliability, battery life, etc. I can't seem to find any actual (user) reviews of these units.
