Download Screenplays for 'Logan', 'Guardians Vol. 2' and More Award Contenders
We've got some superhero scripts that would like your attention, please.
Now that Black Friday and those turkeys are behind us, the awards race picks up again as we speed toward the end of the calendar year. And that means even more screenplays available for free download and your consideration. Today, we have not one, but two superhero scripts vying for your attention, plus another true story from the writer of American Sniper.
Let's begin by taking a look at the trailers for each of these films.
First, we have the grittyLogan, the final chapter in the Wolverine story that departed from the safe PG-13 world, delivering a very hard, R-rated tale, much to the delight of fans and critics. The film follows a weakened Logan as he works as a chauffeur, living off the grid to care for and protect the aging Charles Xavier, when a young girl seeks their help and puts them all at risk.
Next, we have Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the sequel to the film that announced to the world that superhero films don't have to take themselves so seriously to tell a great story, paving the way for Deadpool and Thor: Ragnarok. Oh, and this one has Baby Groot.
Finally, we have Thank You for Your Service, the directorial debut of American Sniper screenwriter Jason Hall. Inspired by true events, the film tells the stories of a group of U.S. soldiers trying to assimilate into everyday life back home while still grappling with the effects of the Iraq war.
Thanks to Marvel Entertainment and 20th Century Fox (with a hat tip to Cinephilia & Beyond) as well as Disney and Universal, here are the links to the screenplays:
- Logan, screenplay by Scott Frank & James Mangold and Michael Green, story by James Mangold
- Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, screenplay by James Gunn
- Thank You for Your Service, screenplay by Jason Hall, based on the book by David Finkel
As always, please use these scripts for your educational purposes only. Also, don't wait to download them because we never know when the studios will take the screenplays off the internet.
Be sure to check out all of this year's award contending screenplays now available for download, and stay tuned as more scripts arrive.
