Padcaster has just released its new Verse Mobile Media Kit, a turnkey solution for shooting or live-streaming from any phone or tablet. This camera grip and cage can hold any phone or tablet regardless of size or phone case. It has 3 cold shoe mounts right on the grip and 12 other mounts around the cage. The X-POD, the three-legged tripod on the base of the structure, has a power bank, so you can charge your phone while you're shooting. It comes with a soft powered omnidirectional mini-mic that can attach right onto the shoe mount.
Padcaster also makes accessories that you can use for those 12 mounts on the cage. The Parrot Teleprompter turns your mobile device into a teleprompter using the Parrot app. Use one device for the teleprompter and another one to record, and you will never need to learn lines again, so actors REJOICE!
