Adobe has added new time-saving features across Creative Cloud, including a handy Quick Export button in Premiere Pro, faster rendering times for AMD users, along with audio track thumbnails and additional language support in Premiere Rush.

Plus, now in beta are new swappable motion graphic templates and a smarter Content Aware tool for After Effects users.

Quick Export Uses Popular Settings

Adobe has added a simple Quick Export button to the Premiere header bar, which applies a user’s most popular video settings instantly to outgoing video clips. Bit rate, resolution, and frame rate will be automatically configured, and the clip will be exported using these favorite settings.

Editors may also select setting packages from a shortlist from the drop-down menu, and the traditional export through the menu bar is also always at hand.

After Effects Offers Drag and Drop Media Replacement

Making changes in After Effects motion templates are now as easy as a simple drag and drop.

By dropping a replacement media asset into the composition layer, AE will customize the incoming asset without affecting any companion text, shapes, or other assets in the motion template.

Content-Aware Fill Gets Better

By reducing output file sizes and adjusting for changes within a scene, Adobe’s Content-Aware Fill feature continues to become more powerful.

The CAF tool more accurately analyzes an image within a video scene, adjusting for changes in lighting and focus, thereby making the removal of unwanted objects more natural-looking.

AMD Gets a Performance Boost

AMD Threadripper processors now benefit from Premiere Pro’s performance upgrades, thanks to improved memory handling for up to four times faster rendering and playback speeds.

Rush Offers Visual Audio Tracks

Finally, Adobe Premiere Rush now offers a simpler workflow thanks to a thumbnail based audio track setting which can take from Adobe Stock’s catalog of royalty-free sounds and music assets.

Rush is also now available in 15 languages, adding support for Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Turkish, and Traditional Chinese. Be on the lookout for these updates soon.
