Searching for a Softbox

I'm looking at getting a softbox that can handle 1,000 watts and has diffusion that won't cast any unwanted color.

I know a Chimera softbox would be the way to go, but I would love a less expensive option.

B&H Photo sell soft-boxes made by Impact and Photoflex that are less exepensive than the Chimera soft-boxes made for hot tungsten lights. You have to be careful as you really want a soft-box that is rated higher than the wattage of the light you are using with it, to be sure nothing catches fire. ( yes, I have seen soft-boxes catch fire and it can be dangerous )

I would recommend going with the Photoflex soft-boxes because they are rated for higher wattage than the Impact soft-boxes...

The Photoflex softboxes are where my research has really led me. Thanks for the info and response. I'm going to check out the specific models and then probably pull the trigger on one. Thanks Guy!
