USC or No?
Sorry to bother everyone, but with school starting in a month, and the stress of having to decide soon, I needed to resort to the one website that has a plethora of knowledge on this site.
Long story short: Last year I got a letter from USC to attend their School of Cinematic Arts for an MFA in Film/Television Production. Having always been anti-film school in the past, I decided against my original belief and made the move out to LA. I came out here at the end of the summer to get adjusted to the city and began to PA. After one gig led to a few others, I began to learn so much working on set. I've always made videos in the past and have a strong sense of camera work, but began to truly learn how a set works when I made the move.
Now with grad school starting in a month, I have to decide in the next few weeks if I'm going to pay the $17k tuition for a semester at USC to gain more connections, or use my money to continue surviving in LA to inch my way into the industry...
