Where to find decent Musicians/Bands in need of Videos?

I recently shot a music video for a friend mainly to test out my a7s. We didn't really plan anything out but I was really happy with the way the video turned out in the edit (you can watch it here, if you want: https://vimeo.com/117519361 ). So happy, that I'm hoping to recapture that feeling with some more bands or musicians.

My problem is I don't really know where to look to find them. I would like them to be somewhat established with a little bit of a following. I'm not even looking to charge them for the video - I just want to shoot and edit to get more visuals for my reel. As of about six months ago,I live in the LA area, so I know there are plenty of bands out here, but I have no idea how to start contacting them other than throwing up posts on Craigslist and hoping for the best.

Any suggestions?

You can pitch to bands and musicians that have posted briefs (with budgets) through radarmusicvideos.com

Good video, but seems to suffer from horizontal line/glitch (not sure the exact term) pretty badly in some spots.

Thanks for the feedback, Ian. Could you point out what specific times in the video you're seeing the glitch? I'm not sure I know what you mean.

Actually it's almost constant throughout. I just watched it again to make sure. Not sure, maybe it's on my end for that particular video, but I don't see why that would be.

I'm also have a7s and looking for bands for a music videos.
I posted on craigslist, that I'm looking for bands/artists who need music videos. Got some replies, but mostly asking for free music video, no budget.
Or look some local groups on facebook about music and post your offers there.

I have met and secured most of my clients (98% are bands) through Facebook actually, and then word of mouth after I release the content and people can see an example.

I'll have to give Facebook a try. I didn't even think of that for some reason. Thanks!

Check out all different types of social media - Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Get yourself into the local music scene where indie bands perform at bars, festivals, etc. Networking with musicians is key.

I shot recently this music video for a new artist and he's had over 50,000 YouTube views since November 2015:
