Why does nofilmschool censor comments?
Why do you remove and ban users that like your site, for just sometimes posting an opinion that might differ from yours?

I haven't really noticed this at NFS. Most sites will ban users for personal attacks, political or religious based attacks, or for simply spamming the site with dubious commercial ventures.

I guess sometimes people can be extra non-constructive in their ideas, opinions, and criticisms. Or just even plain hurtful (just be to be hurtful).

If some people are very hostile here, then no one will want to post and the site is dead. That's why I hate down-voting. Getting rid of differing opinions is something I haven't seen and if it occurred, it would be equally bad for NFS,

Ha ha...another soul who found the peculiarity of this site. Well, most of the sites censors comments with the help of moderators, it is a must. Just like movies need censorship, opinion stages too need it, thanks to some scumbags out there.
Unfortunately, with NFS the moderator is gone and it lets some kiddos down vote you for reasons known to their childish minds. Here is one example I was downvoted on:
"ARTICLE COMMENT – Aputure's Lightstorm LEDs Are Small but Powerful Thanks to Their Honeycomb Design
Thanks to NoFilmSchool Team for the all the updates from the NAB 2015. Cheers.
Expressing gratitude can't be irrelevant or demeaning, or is it? If they are non-english speaking folks, its justified otherwise there are some sulking mamma-boys and girls out there, someone get them some Nipples :)
However my suggestion to you is to keep posting as long as you are not troubling anyone, "but NFS points" .....Whaat?

Downvoting happens so randomly I sometimes think it is just a touchscreen-scroll accident :-p

It's ok in my opinion. Most discussions here aren't heated and should not be heated, and nofilmschool does not want the (teenage?) bully crowd that spews hateful comments on blogs and sites like on some photography sites, where Leica forums are full of posts by people trying to make fun of the Leica crowd and that their 100 dollar point and shoot can do the same, or on the M43 forums that everytime a new camera gets announced an angry mob rushes down to say its a lot smaller than APS-C so in their opinion worthless etc.... Nofilmschool is a lot more pleasant in my opinion here, and more people are here to learn than to bash others, and hopefully it stays this way.
