Stopping by the Lindsey Optics booth at CineGear, we were able to get a load of their unique filters up close.
The company offers a line of rotating Rota-Pol polarizers ($600-$900) and variable NDs ($1300), but by far the most interesting thing we saw was their line of very cool Rota-Streak filters ($425-$650), whose baked-in lens effects produce unique streaks, smears, and patterns when they interact with light.
You can customize the filter to match the color, size, and streak style that you want.
Streak styles include:
- Swirl
- Confetti
- Diamond 4-point Star
- Krystal
- Cylindrical Lens Spacing (2mm, 3mm, 4mm, and 6mm)
All filters can be used with a 4x5.65 or 6.6 matte box and are available now at Lindsey Optics.
