LumaTouch, the company behind LumaFX and LumaFusion, has updated the firmware of the latter to v2.4.4 to include the FiLMiC deLOG V3 LUT, expanding the color grading experience for creators.

The upgrade is free to existing users. Filmmakers and editors now have access to a 10-bit color grade with footage shot in FiLMIC Log V3. When shooting Log V3, you can conform the footage to Rec.709 in LumaFusion with a single click, taking advantage of the latitude to produce cinematic results.

For LumaFusion users, all footage shot with FiLMIC Pro Log V3 is automatically saved as a LUT in the LumaFusion color and effects menu, where you can apply the LUT to grade the footage further.

LumaFusion v2.4.4 also enables editors to access Dolby Vision HDR features found in the iPhone 12 series, including full HDR support with 10-bit processing and export from version 2.4. This allows LumaFusion editors to create projects for HLG, PQ P3, and Rec.709 10-bit color spaces using compatible HDR media from a wide range of cameras, drones, and the iPhone 12.

LumaFusion 2.4.4 is available immediately as a free upgrade for existing customers and is available for new customers as a download from the Apple App Store for $29.99.
