Panasonic announced earlier this summer that ARRI LogC3 and other recording upgrades were coming to several of the top LUMIX camera options. With the purchase of a DMW-SFU3A Software Upgrade Key, Panasonic LUMIX models such as the LUMIX S1RII, S1II, S1IIE, GH7, and GH6 are now able to utilize ARRI LogC3, certified by ARRI and ready to help users color match with ARRI’s digital cinema cameras.

Unlocking ARRI LogC3 on LUMIX
Obviously big news for Panasonic LUMIX shooters, especially those who have recently invested in any of the popular LUMIX S1 cameras, which currently lead the company’s mirrorless camera fleet. If you’ve ever wanted to get that stunning ARRI look for your projects without having the budget to rent or buy an ARRI ALEXA camera, this might be a fun solution to explore.
The result is that LUMIX shooters will be able to unlock seamless color matching with ARRI cinema cameras, making LUMIX cameras as appealing as possible B or C cameras, or as cameras to capture supportive footage for bigger projects.

- More options for Log recording: Rich color detail and wide dynamic range are now extended with the addition of ARRI LogC3 alongside the existing V-Log, further enhancing LUMIX compatibility with professional workflows
