You Need to Know the Miracle of "The Peanut Butter Falcon"

The making of the film is an amazing journey and a must-listen.

Writer/director team Michael Schwartz and Tyler Nilson have an unbelievable story to tell: the arduous and joyful seven-year journey to make The Peanut Butter Falcon a reality. From the humblest of beginnings to creating a legitimate sleeper hit, these gentlemen lived out of cars and tents, gamed the vast network of industry emails and Twitter accounts, and executed an insane live-promotion strategy once the movie was finally released in theaters last year. These guys are NoFilmSchool readers JUST LIKE YOU who just decided to work really, really hard and not quit. Michael and Tyler embody the NoFilmSchool ethic and we are honored that they gave us their epic story first. This is a must-listen.

We SO need more diversity in films. And differently abled person is so valuable to everyone. Having been in that field since 25 yrs old(1979) it makes such a statement to society about worth of all persons. Proud of those who did this movie.. especially the stars. Knowing a person with Down Syndrome will Totally change your life forever and make you a person you need to be. I thank God daily for my life with my people and my beautiful daughter, now 17, with DS, whom everyone wanted me to terminate. I taught drama with persons differently abled so not surprised at the talent, dedication, and professionalism. I wish Everyone had DS...what a beautiful World this would be❤️
Ps..planning a book now to make into a film about Down Syndrome and the false narratives thread into our societies. Truth be told!

Hey Tyler Nilson... I'm new here in NC ..ENC coast..and would love to get together to discuss some new stuff on prejudices in this turbulent society.
Lots of stuff to choose from as I've been through many personally..mental health..black lives matter..native lives matter... LGBTQ issues...being working poor in America..immigrant issues( we're ALL immigrants) and disabilities and their stigma. Shia LeBouf might be interested..love that dude!

You'd think that a website with "film" in it would have the means to turn a webcam on or make a quick video of an interview... Because serioulsy I'd love to know where the interviewer lived in LA but I'd rather skip ahead that crap.

This was a great listen.
Does anyone know if that original test footage they shot is available to the public?
It would be great to see what shots and scenes they included to make a case for their film.
