Geoff Browne
Geoff Browne is a Canadian, American, narrative writer-director-cinematographer based in Los Angeles, operating under Boundless Light Productions. With nearly 25 years of experience — rooted in documentary filmmaking across Nigeria, China, Tibet, Nepal, India, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Bulgaria — he channels that vérité instinct directly into his narrative work, shooting both solo and with large crews.
His short film Godpower — shot single-handedly in Tarkwa Bay, Lagos — won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the 29th Dances With Films. A script he wrote was optioned by the Oscar-nominated writers and producers of The Fighter, with Philip Noyce attached as Executive Producer. He co-wrote a thriller with Paul Tamasy and Eric Johnson, represented at WME. He is attached to direct a thriller produced by Greendog Films and Agora Entertainment.
