In its first year as a distributor, A24 Films has made quite a name for itself, releasing a bevy of critically acclaimed and provocative titles in 2013. As the awards season heats up, A24 is firing up campaigns for three of its more successful titles: The Spectacular Now, Spring Breakers and The Bling Ring. Thanks to these campaigns, we all get the opportunity to download the screenplays for each of these films.
One of my personal favorite films of 2013, thanks to the honest portrayals, is The Spectacular Now. Check out the trailer below:
Harmony Korine'sSpring Breakers turned a lot of heads when it arrived this past spring, perhaps most notably for James Franco's performance:
Blending the provocative with reality, Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring took us inside the real lives of celebrity-obsessed youth (and Paris Hilton's actual home):
Thanks to A24 Films, here are the links to the screenplays for each of these films:
- The Spectacular Now, screenplay by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber, based on the book by Tim Tharp
- Spring Breakers, written by Harmony Korine
- The Bling Ring, written by Sofia Coppola
As always, please use these screenplays for your educational purposes only, and don’t wait to download them as we never know when they will go offline.
In case you missed our previous post about screenplays available for free, legal download, you can find them here:
Does your writing style veer toward the provocative like Spring Breakers and The Bling Ring? Or do you look for stories in the honest moments between characters like The Spectacular Now? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.

God damnit, why is Spectacular Now nowhere to be seen? I can't find it anywhere. :(

Very excited to read Spring Breakers! Here's hoping for Frances Ha and Place Beyond the Pines soon.

i have not seen spectacular now but for the others , for me it's just a movie with empty people with empty dreams and empty sentiment , so if this is the evolution of the dreamer and of the movie that talk about the the sentiment of the follow the dream.....this is the end ...no surprising me when the stars cry because the people don't watch movie, nothing like LORD OF DOG TOWN that movie speak about really dream and really people.
What is purpose to BE PARIS HILTON ?!!?!?!!??!!??!??!?!?

As an online film critic, 'The Spectacular Now' and 'The Bling Ring' were two of my favorite indie films of 2013. However, 'Spring Breakers' was one of the worst films of the year. I don't like Harmony Korine's style of filmmaking. He talks down to the audience for shock value. His film (more like a music video) is pure garbage.
