Want to see a collection of some of the year’s best films? Want to win a bunch of cool stuff, like $50K in prizes? Well, Musicbed wants to hook you up.

To celebrate the beautiful partnership of music and film, the 1st Annual Musicbed Film Fest, which kicked off earlier this week, is inviting filmmakers to submit their best films that feature Musicbed film scores.

So, here's how it works.

Step 1: Go grab the Vimeo or YouTube link of the film you’re most proud of. (remember this must use a Musicbed track)

Step 2: Get votes from your friends and swoon category judges like Andy Baker (National Geographic) or Sam Morrill (Vimeo).

Step 3: Go watch, vote, and enjoy the hundreds of films that have already been submitted!

To get an idea of what Musicbed is looking for, here are some excellent examples from other filmmakers' submissions.

Learn more about the festival by heading over to its webpage. The Film Fest submission period is July 27th through August 21st.
