Before we get to the screenplay links, let's take a look at the trailers for each film.
First, here's the trailer for Grandma, a day-long journey of a grandmother helping her granddaughter scrounge up some much needed cash from old friends and relationships:
Next is the trailer for The Diary of a Teenage Girl, an emotionally honest revelation of a 15-year-old girl's sexual awakening with her mother's boyfriend in 1970s San Francisco:
Here's the trailer for Infinitely Polar Bear, a drama about how to rebuild a life and a family in the aftermath of a mental breakdown:
The Lady in the Van is based on Alan Bennett's memoir about the woman who parked her van in his driveway "temporarily" and lived in that van for the next 15 years. Check out the trailer:
Winner of the Grand Prix at this year's Cannes Film Festival, Son of Saul follows a man in Auschwitz tasked with burning the bodies of his fellow Jews when he discovers the body of a boy he takes for his son and struggles to save this boy's body from the crematorium to give him a proper burial. Here's the trailer:
Based on Vera Brittain's memoir, Testament of Youth follows the hopes and challenges of young love in the face of the first World War. Here's the trailer:
Truth tells the story of CBS News producer Mary Mapes and anchorman Dan Rather after they report a story that President George W. Bush may have shirked his Texas Air National Guard service in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Immediately following the report, Mapes and Rather are attacked and accused of being duped into reporting a false story. Check out the trailer:
