With the new year upon us, we still have several screenplays to read as studios and distributors make the final push for nominations during this awards season. Today, thanks to Bleecker Street Media, we have the screenplays for Trumbo, I'll See You in My Dreams, Pawn Sacrifice, and Danny Collins for your consideration.

Before we get to the screenplay links, let's take a look at the films' trailers. First, we have Trumbo, the true story of screenwriter Dalton Trumbo who ended up on the notorious Hollywood Black List and wrote two Academy Award winning screenplays credited to different writers while in exile. Next, we have the Sundance favorite I'll See You in My Dreams, a story about an older woman who discovers a new zest for life, befriending her pool maintenance man and pursuing a new love interest. Check out the trailer below, and you can also read my interview with director/co-writer Brett Haley during his Kickstarter campaign for the film:

Pawn Sacrifice tells the true story of chess great Bobby Fischer, caught up in the US-Soviet Union cold war as he takes on world chess champion Boris Spassky. Here's the trailer:

Finally, we have Danny Collins, the story of an aging musician who decides to change his life after he discovers a 40-year-old letter written to him by John Lennon. Check out the trailer below:
