Manfrotto Updates Their Fluid Video Monopods with Detachable 3-Axis Base

Manfrotto has added a few intriguing improvements to their Fluid Video Monopods that make them more portable, stable, and smooth to operate.

Brand manager Francesco Spisti showed us a few of these new monopods, which come with larger, retractable feet and a new detachable fluid base that provides 3-axis fluidity for users, but can also be put into a "vertical position" to keep your camera and monopod steady. They come in two versions, a lightweight carbon fiber model and a more rugged aluminum model.

Unfortunately it looks like the new base is only compatible with XPro Monopods.
