SmallHD's Partnership with Teradek Yields These Exciting New Prototype Monitors
Get a sneak peak at these new all-in-one wireless transmitters/HD monitors.
Teradek and SmallHD merged under Vitec Group back in 2015, but these are some of the first products we've seen come out of the collaboration between the two companies.
We're a bit scant on details, but the first prototype looks like a beautiful solution to a problem that a lot of filmmakers face as they increase their product sizes: how to get a wireless client monitor or director's monitor that works seamlessly. Based off of the 703 monitor (with handles built in and no brackets and wiring spilling out everywhere), it's a sleek looking unit. It's safe to say we're all looking forward to seeing it hit the streets hopefully later in the year.
The other prototype is a two monitor/transmitter solution for displaying more than one signal at a time, complete with the ability to swipe between signals.
