Set to be released on May 3rd, 2019, the latest entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Endgame, is the second half of a two-parter that began with last year's Avengers: Infinity Wars. If you're one of the millions of moviegoers who caught that film, you know that things didn't exactly go according to plan for our not-quite-caped crusaders.

That's right: half of the world's population was wiped out by the evil, purple-faced Thanos (played by Josh Brolin), and now it's up to the remaining Avengers to pick up the pieces and fight back. Things tend to get darkest right before encountering the light, so here's hoping things turn out well for the remaining Avengers, led by Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd).
