In case you missed the news, there’s a new iPhone in town, and this bad boy is set to revolutionize (smartphone) cinematography! How, you ask? Well, great question—the new iPhone 13 is the first in Apple’s historic line to offer a new “Cinematic” Mode.
And, while the debate as to whether or not your iPhone is actually going to replace your Sony or Canon camera anytime soon might be up in the air, the new cinematic prospects for this new Apple smartphone are indeed quite intriguing.
Making things all more intriguing though is the news today that FiLMiC Inc. is announcing full support for ProRes Video on the new iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max (see which iPhone 13 model is right for you).
