Over the course of the pandemic, I felt like I watched every title on Netflix. I'm aware that's impossible, but it felt that way. When it came to picking new things to watch, I had no idea if the shows or movies left were any good. Well, a new website called BestWatch aims to fix that for me... and everyone else.

BestWatch helps get rid of your frustration and choose what to watch. They have built an algorithm that filters all of Netflix’s catalog and rearranges it according to IMDb rating.

This rating, which is given via the votes of thousands of IMDb users, helps pick only the best content in accordance with your taste.

It was created by Gabriel Ferraté, a software engineer from Barcelona who explained his mission this way:

"For a while now, I've been working on this new exciting project which aims to solve one of the biggest problems of this society: NOT KNOWING WHICH MOVIE TO WATCH WHEN BORED. After some research, I figured out that IMDb has a really good sorting method so I decided to mix Netflix's catalog with the IMDb database."
